Isaiah 1: 10, 11, 12

Isaiah 1:10  Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

10.

Hear My Word, you rulers of corruption; give ear to My Law, you careless and promiscuous ones.

Isaiah 1:11  To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

11.

·      Why do you call yourselves Christians? Why do you say you believe in Me? Through your actions, and your thoughts especially; it is clear you have no real interest in My Lifestyle.

·      What good are your prayers to Me? You tell Me about your wish list. You tell Me about all the things you do not like that are happening around you. You typically refuse to pitch in and help those around you that are in need. You might throw some money their way, but you rarely want to put your hands to the work.

·      You refuse to stand up against the injustices in your own communities, much less in your nation, much less around the world. You thoughtlessly and insensitively break My Commandments, as if they are nothing to you.

·      Why do you claim to come and worship before Me, when you really have no idea or interest in studying to learn Who I really AM? You kind of know of Me, but you do not want to take realistic time to find out Who I AM at a very personal level.

·      Why do you claim to be Mine, when you choose to live according to the commandments and traditions of men, and not according to My Word? Most of you do nothing more than go through the motions. Your lives are not much different than those who confess they have no interest of any kind in Me.

·      You let filthy thoughts pass through your mind, and it does not even offend you. Many of you are consumed with obscene, indiscriminate and disrespectful thoughts, and you think nothing of it.

Know for a certainty, that you consist of the thoughts that are in your mind – that is who you really are. You are not who you attempt to be in appearance in the eyes of those around you. What your thoughts are; that is exactly the kind of person you are; that is exactly who you are.

Isaiah 1:12  When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

12.

·      When you attend your weekly services, is it not to pacify your own conscience?

·      Is it to give your self some kind of feeling of goodness or even godliness?

·      Is it to socialize with others?

·      Is it to seek forgiveness for the faults you committed last week; just so you can walk back out the door, and carelessly keep doing the same sinful actions that you consistently do every week of your life?
